A highly desirable and increasingly
rare Aston Martin DB7 i6 Coupe, presented in elegant Mendip Blue with a
beautifully appointed Pacific Blue and Magnolia Connolly leather interior,
complemented by a Parchment headlining and Blue Firth carpets. First registered
on 1st March 1999, this example is one of the final six-cylinder DB7s produced
before the introduction of the DB7 Vantage and is among only 713
right-hand-drive manual transmission coupes built, making it a particularly
collectible example.
Manufactured between October and December 1998,
chassis number SCFAA1115XK102523 is one of the last DB7 i models built,
retaining its original factory specification including the desirable
factory-fitted sports exhaust system and stainless-steel grille, as later fitted
to the DB7 GT.
Power comes from Aston Martin's supercharged
3,239cc straight-six engine, producing around 335 BHP and driving through the
increasingly sought-after manual gearbox, offering the engaging three-pedal
driving experience that enthusiasts actively seek today.
Adding to its provenance, the car
was initially registered by Aston Martin Lagonda at Newport Pagnell, remaining
in factory ownership for approximately six months. During this period it served
as the Course Car at Brands Hatch, Donington Park and Wiscombe, with supporting
photographs by renowned Aston Martin photographer Roger Stowers retained within
the history file.
