RHD; The speedometer
currently shows 62,298 miles, although this cannot be verified; Driven over 50
miles to our site without issue; rebuilt cylinder head upgraded for unleaded
fuel
Showing just three former
keepers since being imported to the UK in August 1994, this 1969 MGC is finished
in Yellow with a Red leatherette interior and features the desirable rare wooden
dashboard.
Powered by the 3,000cc
six-cylinder engine with manual transmission and overdrive, the car has
benefited from a rebuilt cylinder head upgraded for unleaded fuel,
stainless-steel exhaust, new front calipers and a new overdrive switch. It also
comes with a new Red soft top and tonneau cover together with new Red
leatherette seats.
The car was converted to
right-hand drive when imported, although the vendor believes it may have
originally been a factory RHD car. A spare electric ignition system is included
in the sale, although this has never been fitted as it has not been
required.
The speedometer currently
shows 62,298 miles, although this cannot be verified. The history file includes
nine old MOT certificates, a State of Arkansas Certificate of Title and various
invoices.
Driven over 50 miles to our
site without issue, the MGC started, drove and stopped as expected for
photography and a short walk-round video.
